ROCHESTER - Bernita "Ann" Crispen Miller, 69, of 3660 S. CR 500E, Rochester, died at 5:50 p.m. April 12, 2008, in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester. She was in failing health for eight months.

She was born June 28, 1938, to Louis and Bernice Cover Shambarger. On March 10, 1956, in Mentone, she married Francis Lee Crispen, who died July 20, 1985. On Oct. 7, 1987, she married George Miller, who survives.

A lifetime Fulton and Miami counties resident, she worked at Torin Corp., Rochester, and sold Avon, retiring in 1995. She was a member of The Church of the Nazarene, Green Oak Club and Home Circle Home Economics Club. She was a former member of Lioness Group and CASA and a charter member of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Ladies Topps Weight Management Group.

Also surviving are three daughters, Deborah (and spouse Tom) Mills and Ellen (and spouse Neil) Felts, both of Rochester, and Carin (and spouse CWO4 Michael) Ringle, Fort Campbell, Ky.; a son, Kevin (and spouse Susan) Crispen, Rochester; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie DeWitt, Logansport; and two brothers, Lewis "Bob" (and spouse Jan) Shambarger, Plymouth, and Herbert (and spouse Doris) Shambarger, Laketon. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Don Meyer officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
