Berniece C. Wood, 90, died at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 17, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 3, 1923, in Pierceton, to Arthur and Minnie Weaver Barker. On Oct. 26, 1940, in Warsaw, she married George A. Wood, who died April 23, 2001.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resicent, she worked at Da-Lite Screen Company on a rivet machine for 15 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Warsaw Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Charles (and spouse Joyce) Wood and Ron (and spouse Carol) Wood, all of Warsaw; a daughter, Karen (and spouse Allen) Tusing, Florissant, Mo.; three sisters: Jeraldean Jackson, Fort Wayne, Geraldean (and spouse Junior) Graves, South Whitley and Devona Morrical, Leo; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and seven step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Lester and Truman Barker, and two sisters, Helen Snepp and Orpha Thornburg.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. William Whitaker, Warsaw Family Worship Center, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
