Benefit Planned In South Whitley

SOUTH WHITLEY – A community benefit is planned for Bill Linn, Claypool.
It will be held Oct. 4, 2014, at the South Whitley Fire Station from 4 to 7 p.m. Proceeds will go to help with medical bills, as well as upcoming expenses related to Bill's farming accident, which took place over Memorial weekend.Food will be served beginning at 4 p.m. at the South Whitley Fire Station and will include pulled pork, hotdogs, baked beans, potato chips and soft drinks. This is a free will-donation benefit.
There will be a silent auction and bake sale around 7 p.m. Some of the items being auctioned off are: Peg Perego tractor and trailer, Indiana Beach Fun Day Tickets, Komet's hockey tickets, FireKeepers Casino giftcard, Sweetwater electric guitar and much more. Last minute items may be donated by calling Tylette Watmough at 574-933-4276.
For those who cannot attend and would like to still donate, checks can be sent to Three Rivers Credit Union under “Bill Linn Benefit Fund.”
