Beliles Enlists In Co E 113th

Shane Beliles recently enlisted into the Co E 113th Support FSC Company of the Indiana Army National Guard in Fort Wayne.

Beliles attends Tippecanoe Valley High School, and currently resides in Mentone. He is the son of David and Tina Beliles, Mentone.

According to recruiter Staff Sgt. Dan Murphy, Private Beliles enlisted as a land combat electronic missile repairer and will attend basic training in Ft. Sill, Okla., and his advanced individual training at Redstone Arsenal, Ala. He will learn basic military skills such as first aid, land navigation and basic rifle marksmanship, as well as basic law enforcement skills and offensive and defensive combat operations. At the completion of his training, Beliles will return to Indiana and continue his work with the Army National Guard in Fort Wayne.

Beliles received the Indiana Army National Guard 100 Percent State College Tuition Assistance Program, the Montgomery G.I. Bill and a substantial cash enlistment bonus.
