Michael and Renee Beaver, North Webster, announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Beaver, Fort Wayne, to Dr. Asim S. Ahmed, Hillard, Ohio. He is the son of Dr. M. Saleem and Imrana P. Ahmed
The bride-to-be works at Frame Art and Design, Fort Wayne. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan, Marion,  with a degree in painting and illustration in 2010.
The groom-elect is a second-year internal medicine resident at Doctors Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He earned a bachelor’s degree in natural science from the University of Akron in 2006 and a doctor of osteopathy from Lincoln Memorial University in 2011.
The couple plan a Nov. 4, 2012, wedding.
