GAS CITY – Beatrice Elizabeth Gray McPherson, 93, of Gas City, and formerly of Silver Lake, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Oct. 27, 2012, in her residence.
She was born July 17, 1919, to Benjamin Franklin and Georgia Anna Walser Gray. In 1938, she married Paul Aaron “Mac” McPherson, who preceded her in death.
She attended Gas City High School  and Tarkio (Mo.) College. She was a homemaker and a school teacher. After Mac retired, they enjoyed several winters in central Florida. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Gas City; Hostess House;  Department Club; Literary Club; and Order of the Eastern Star, North Manchester.
Surviving are two daughters, Georgia Sue (and spouse Stephen) Kneller, Mahomet, Ill., and Nanette K. Wilkins,   Gas City; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She also was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, Gas City. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
Calling is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funera home.
