The two recently completed the board orientation program and attended their first meeting in March.
Yingling is chief financial officer at Paragon Medical in Pierceton. She also serves on the Orthoworx Strategic Advisory Board, Parkview HPS Board and participates on the Finance Committee and as an elder at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, John, have a son and daughter.
Mobarak, human resources director with Biomet International, has been active with Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana and has been involved with United Way, Day of Caring, One Dog At A Time, Rudy’s Dog Park and Habitat For Humanity events and fundraising. She brings employment law, event planning and fundraising experience to the board along with her business and administrative skills.
“The experiences these women bring are valuable to the Beaman Home especially at this time, and will blend very well (with) the talent of our current board members. We’re very excited to welcome them as our newest board member,” said Hodson in the announcement.
The Beaman Home has served domestic violence victims for nearly 30 years. They are raising fund to build a new emergency shelter and outreach center on North Parker Street in Warsaw. It will replace an existing shelter they have outgrown.
Those interested in making a gift or organizing a fundraising event to help with the construction of the new facility can contact Hodson by calling 574-372-3503 or emailing [email protected]
