Samuel and Mary Lou Baxter will mark their 60th wedding anniversary June 23, 2008. Samuel Baxter and Mary Lou Schrader were married June 23, 1948, in the Larwill parsonage with Mark O. Burnett officiating.

He recently retired from Wal-Mart, and she is a homemaker.

The couple have four children: Penny Baxter Daisy, Deloris Baxter (and spouse Joseph) Clark, all of Mansfield, Ohio; David (and spouse Roberta) Baxter, Eddyville, Ky.; and Sandra Baxter Rude, Warsaw. They have seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The couple celebrated the anniversary with a family dinner at Don Hall's Guesthouse Restaurant June 7. Cards may be sent to the couple at 1 EMS B37 Lot 88, Warsaw, IN 46582.[[In-content Ad]]
