William and Peggy Baumgardner, Lake Placid, Fla., will mark their 60th wedding anniversary July 4. William Baumgardner and Peggy Huggins were married July 4, 1947, in Osceola, by the Rev. George Smider, pastor of Methodist Church, formerly of Bourbon.

He is a Navy veteran and retired from Embarq after 33 years. She retired from Big Boy Products.

The couple have four children: Yolanda Bussard and Mrs. James (Nancy) Guyse, both of Warsaw; Bradley (and wife Cynthia) Baumgardner, Germantown, Tenn.; and Mrs. Brian (Judith) Schooley, Rio Lindo, Calif. They have 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
