FORT MYERS, Fla. – Bart Alan Krajewski, 75, Fort Myers Beach, Fla., passed away March 20, 2015, at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born March 19, 1940, in Kokomo, to Chester and Buelah Krajewski. He was married to  Susan, who survives. They were married for 38 years,
He graduated from Western High School in 1958, and joined the U.S. Navy. He served as a medic on the USS Wasp traveling the world, and was honorably discharged in 1962.
He worked in security for the Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo before starting a lengthy entrepreneurial career. He owned several night clubs, hair salons and restaurants in Kokomo, Akron, Claypool and Silver Lake. He moved to Fort Myers Beach in 1993 and worked in security in Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach and Naples. He was a boxing coach and trainer, a mentor, best friend and father figure to many. He never met a stranger; he offered help to anyone. He loved retelling the many adventures of his life and played the Florida lottery faithfully.
He also is survived by a son, Cooper Krajewski, Fort Myers; a daughter, Heather Chester, Fort Myers; three brothers: William (and spouse Mary Lou) Krajewski, Fort Myers; Jim (and spouse Donna) Krajewski, Kokomo; and Edward (and spouse MaryAnn) Krajewski, Bonita Springs; three grandchildren: Logan and Ethan Chester, Fort Myers, and Riley Krajewski, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Porter.
A memorial gathering honoring his life will be in May on Fort Myers Beach.
