Jim and Marti Barber, 630 Nancy St., Warsaw, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Nov. 27, 2010.

Jim Barber and the former Marti Hilgendorf were married Nov. 27, 1970, in St. Peter's, LaPorte, by the Rev. Eugene Hoffman.

Jim retired after 32 years with Sprint Corp. and is now working in physical therapy at KCH Regional Rehabilition Center, Warsaw.

Marti retired from director of Little Tigers Preschool and is currently working for Warsaw Community Schools since 1976 as a bus driver.

The couple have three children: Matt (and spouse Estera) Barber, Rockford, Ill.; Josh (and spouse Vanessa) Barber, Winona Lake; and Sarah (and spouse Mike) Petersen, Claypool; and five grandchildren.
