BOURBON – Barbara Jean Kottka, 62, of Bourbon, died Aug. 7, 2013, in her residence.
She was born March 4, 1951, in LaPorte, to Russell William and Edith Pratt Weirick. On March 16, 1997, in Plymouth, she married Steven Kottka, who survives.
She was a homemaker and graduated from Knox High School.
Also surviving are three children: Russell (and spouse Sybilla) Cottrell, Knox; Jerry (and spouse Lanette) Weirick, Plymouth; and Ryan Mastaski, Ohio; two step daughters, Misty Dawn Bellamy, Texas, and Monica Sue Ogelsby, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by  a daughter and a sister.
No services or calling are planned.
Deaton Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, is in charge of arrangements.
