Barbara J. Vollmer, 88, of Leesburg, died at 5:30 a.m. July 13, 2010, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw.

She was born Oct. 20, 1921, in Leesburg, to Garland and Snowden Harley Robison. On Aug. 18, 1950, she married Maynard E. Vollmer, who survives.

She and her husband owned Maynard's Men Shop, North Manchester, for 32 years. After retirement she was a volunteer aide at Leesburg Elementary School. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Warsaw, and was a graduate of International Business College, Fort Wayne.

Also surviving are three daughters: Christine (and spouse Charles) Jones, Markle; Amy (and spouse Michael) Isenberg, Fort Wayne; and Ruth (and spouse Thomas) LaSalle, Leesburg; six grandchildren: Jennifer (and spouse Blake) Legge-English, Evansville; Jonathan and Erica Isenberg, both of Fort Wayne; Betsy LaSalle, Chicago, Ill.; and Katie and Alex LaSalle, both of Leesburg; a sister, Sue (and spouse Gene) Arthur, Norwalk, Ohio; and a brother, Harley "Bud" Robison, Leesburg.

Graveside services will be private with Pastor Stuart Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.

No calling is planned.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
