ETNA GREEN - Police are looking for a man who robbed the PNC Bank branch in Etna Green this morning.

Around 9:30 a.m. today, police say a white man wearing a white and blue striped button-up shirt, blue jean shorts and a white baseball cap entered the Etna Green bank and demanded money. He reportedly did not show a gun or weapon.

He reportedly left the bank on foot and took off the white shirt and ball cap, leaving a dark blue or black t-shirt underneath.

The suspect is described as an 18- to 20-year-old slender white male with pale skin and facial hair on his chin. He is between 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall.

Police believe the man got into a dark maroon 2008 Chevrolet regular-sized Silverado and headed east on Old 30 from Etna Green with another person. The second suspect is described as a slender white male.

A Kosciusko County Sheriff's deputy heading to the scene of the robbery on Old 30 reportedly saw a dark maroon truck with two males heading eastbound near the intersection with CR 600W. The officer turned around to follow the truck, but he was unable to locate the vehicle, which was reported stolen from Warsaw Wholesale on Ind. 15 this morning.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and the Indiana State Police sent K-9 officers to the scene and were still searching for the suspects this morning. The Indiana State Police also sent out an airplane to see if the truck has been abandoned somewhere in the county.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Det./Sgt. Joe Mooney or Det./Sgt. Jon Tyler, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, at 574-267-5667 or the Kosciusko County TIP line at 574-372-2494.[[In-content Ad]]
