Baker Inks Letter With Toledo

Warsaw Community High School senior Lindsay Baker has signed a letter of intent to play NCAA Division I basketball at Toledo University next season.
The 5-foot-11 Baker plans to major in exercise science at Toledo.
Through her first six semesters at WCHS, Baker has established herself on both the court and in the classroom, earning an 11.85 cumulative GPA on a 12-point scale, while ranking 38th out of 511 WCHS seniors.
Last year as a junior, Baker averaged 14.4 points per game, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists with 2.6 steals. She also shot 84 from the foul line and 45.3 percent from 3-point range.
Baker was named to the Junior All-Star team, earned All Northern Lakes Conference first-team honors, and was the Times-Union Area Player of the Year.
She was also an Indiana Basketball Coaches Association All-State selection, All Northeast Indiana second team, and was a Hoosier Basketball Magazine All-State pick.
A three-year starter for coach Michelle Harter’s Lady Tigers, Baker earned a varsity letter as a freshman.
Last season, the Lady Tigers were 16-5, and were NLC champions the previous season with Baker being one the primary go-to players.
Baker has been involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Octagon Club, National Honor Society, the YMCA and The Boys and Girls Club.[[In-content Ad]]
