Herb and the former Anne Blackford were married June 6, 1964, by the Rev. Vamos at First Presbyterian Church, Warsaw.
Herb worked at R.R. Donnelley and the Chicago Tribune. Anne worked at Free Methodist World Headquarters, Lake City Bank and Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
They have two children, Herb III (and spouse Sarah) Bailey and Heidi (and spouse Gary) Leininger; and four granddaughters: Mandy Whitaker, Emily Bailey, Josie and Jules Leininger, all of Warsaw.
