Aviation Board Sets Hangar for Bid Process

Tuesday night at their monthly meeting the Warsaw Board of Aviation Commissioners approved claims, fuel usage and set hangar two for the bid process.

Airport Engineer Ken Ross, of NGC in Indianapolis, was not able to attend the meeting and brief commissioners on the status of the airport expansion project. In his absence commissioners looked at the financials of the airport. The claims docket for the month of October was approved for $41,922.30.

Additionally airport manager David Beall went over the fuel usage report for September. During the month of September fuel sales for the airport were $34,429.35. For the year the airport had sold $262,392.05. Commissioners approved the fuel usage for the month of September.

In other business the commissioners agreed to put hangar two up for bids. Beall said that there are multiple people who have shown interest in the hangar.

“Alan Hoover, John Fussle and Tim Grissom have all shown interest in the hangar,” Beall said. “I hope to put the hangar up for bids by the next meeting on Dec. 11.”

Beall said if the hangar dos not go up for bid in December that it will happen in January.
