Auto Break-Ins Reported In City

The Warsaw Police Department is investigating eight thefts that occurred Monday in the parking lots of Royalite and Daylite, Detroit Street, Warsaw.

Windows were broken out of at least eight vehicles to gain access. A CB radio, a pistol, three stereos, a tent, an air conditioner and cassettes were among the items reported stolen.

Collective damage and loss from the broken windows and thefts was estimated at $1,600.

The police are examining videotapes of the parking lots in an effort to find the thief. [[In-content Ad]]
