According to an e-mail from Atwood resident Katy Bryer, residents haven't seen any action taken since last month's plan commission meeting.
During last month's meeting, which lasted nearly 2.5 hours and saw four commissioner members leave eliminating a possible quorum, Atwood residents were told steps would be taken to resolve the issue.
According to Bryer, that hasn't happened.
"No action has been taken since the last meeting and the finger pointing between IDEM and the county continues so we will be requesting the Area Planning Commission immediately file a cease-and-desist order against Nature's Fuel," said Bryer's e-mail. "Once again, we are hoping someone will step in to help protect our community."
The plan commission meets at 1 p.m. in the old courtroom at the Kosciusko County Courthouse.
