Atwood, Brown Advance to Regional

SYRACUSE – Wawasee freshman Reagan Atwood qualified for the gymnastics regional at Huntington North by finishing second in the all-around at the Wawasee Sectional Saturday.
Warsaw’s Jazzmine Brown also advanced, finishing fifth in the uneven bars. Brown finished eighth overall.
The top three teams and top six individuals advance in each event.
The Lady Warriors just missed qualifying for the March 14 regional, finishing fourth with 98.375 points in the team standings. East Noble was third with 100.900. Elkhart Central was the sectional champion with 103.750 points and DeKalb was the runner-up with 101.825.
Warsaw was ninth in the team standings, with 72.600 points.
