As a result of investigations into a December armed robbery of On Cue in Warsaw, two men have been charged in connection with a similar robbery at the business in July 2000.
Jeremy Ray Shambaugh, 20, of 1968 S. CR 675W, Warsaw, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Monday afternoon on charges of aiding, inducing or causing robbery, a Class B felony, and theft, a Class D felony. He was released from custody after posting $10,000 bond.
Shambaugh is accused of accompanying Cory Arndell, 21, of Claypool, to the On Cue store at the Marketplace shopping center in Warsaw on July 1, 2000. There is a warrant for Arndell's arrest for robbery and theft in this case.
Arndell was also charged in a December armed robbery of the business, where he was once employed. The investigation into the most recent robbery helped police solve the older case that had been closed because there were no leads. Three others, Nathan Patterson, Sara Waudby and Adam Summers, were arrested in the December case as well.
In both cases, On Cue employees were robbed of the night deposit as they left the store. Police said Arndell was familiar with the closing procedures because of his former employment there. [[In-content Ad]]
