Arden Eugene Tusing, 71, Warsaw, passed away at 11:05 a.m. June 27, 2014, in V.A. Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion.
He was born June 1, 1943, in Warsaw, to Chester and Verna Warren Tusing. On Feb. 22, 1963, he married Nancy Ann Blackstone, who passed away Sept. 11, 2007.
He served in the US Navy from Aug. 25, 1960, until his honorable discharge on March 23, 1964. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County where he worked as a delivery driver in the RV industry, and he retired in 2006 from Explorer Van, Warsaw. He was a member and Past Commander of the VFW Post #1126, Warsaw, as well as a member of the American Legion Post #49, Warsaw, and the American Legion Post #154, Nappanee.
He leaves behind three sons: Robert (and spouse Donna) Tusing, Mesquite, Texas; William (and spouse Laura) Tusing, Bloomington; Brian (and spouse Deana) Tusing, Warsaw; five grandchildren: Christopher, Anthony, Ryan, Rebecca and Cameron Tusing; one great-granddaughter, Mia Tusing; and his sister, Dorothy Snowden, Texas. He also was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
No visitation is planned. A private graveside service will be conducted at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer.
Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
