NORTH WEBSTER - An anonymous tip about methamphetamine led to the arrest of four people Tuesday evening.

Jason Scott Lewallen, 24, of 7280 E, CR 650N, North Webster, and James Henry Barr, 25, of 519 E. CR 500N, Leesburg, were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Tuesday evening for manufacturing methamphetamine, while Rodney Alan Tesdahl, 35, of 44 EMS B61F Lane, Warsaw, and Rochelle Diane Valentine, 25, of 8252 E. Asberry Lane, North Webster, were booked for visiting a common nuisance. Lewallen and Barr are being held on $20,000 bonds, while Tesdahl and Valentine are being held on $350 bonds.

Lewallen currently is on parole for a previous methamphetamine conviction.

Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, deputies from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department received a tip that people at 5210 E. CR 500N Lot 4, North Webster, allegedly were shaking a bottle that reportedly contained methamphetamine and that children had previously been at the residence.

When officers arrived at the scene, they noticed a strong chemical odor usually associated with methamphetamine production along with a white vapor cloud around the mobile home.

While the home was being evacuated, officers reportedly saw several items associated with making meth, so the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force and the Indiana State Police Lab Team were contacted to secure the scene.[[In-content Ad]]
