She was born Feb. 8, 1944, in Owingsville, Ky., to Robert Ray and Lottie Staton Manley. On March 8, 1973, she married Gary E. Richard, her husband of 41 years, who survives in Estero.
She graduated from Bath County High School in 1962. She retired from Zimmer, Warsaw, with 25 years of service after which she and her husband moved to Estero. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Most of all, Annie enjoyed her family. She loved every member and wanted them all to come visit her in Florida. She gladly welcomed everyone into her home. She also enjoyed going to the pool, boat rides, seeing the dolphins and visiting with her many friends. She stayed active in her retirement community by going to dances, playing bingo and by being a friend to others.
Survivors also include her son, Mike, and her very loved and adored granddaughter, Gracie, both of Bloomington; her two brothers, Roger Manley, Owingsville, Ky., and Bobby Manley, Marion; three sisters: Louise Manley, Middletown, Ohio; Betty (and spouse Glen) Murphree, Marion; and Mary Kay Manley, Owingsville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she treated and loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving mother-in-law, Wilma Drummond.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, with her son, Mike, officiating. Burial is in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
