She steadfastly lived the Good News as brought by our Lord Jesus Christ and she was known within her Christian community as a true and constant prayer warrior. "This little light of mine" was more than a simple Sunday school song to her, it was a life-long commission. Her ability to the good in all persons and situations was a reflection of God's love, mercy and grace in her life. We shall miss her person but not her presence.
She was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Simon and Grace Logan Kline, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 7, 1996, she married Francis Jackson Endicott, who survives.
Living in Kosciusko County the past 12 years, she was a homemaker and attended and graduated from Greenville (Ill.) College, earning a bachelor's degree in general arts and music in 1940.
Also surviving are two daughters, Karyl and Candace; five sons, Douglas, Gregory, Steven, Jeffrey and Kim; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Lowell and Don.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. May 25 in Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, 902 College Ave., Winona Lake, with Pastor Henry Church officiating. She will be interred in Magnetawan, Ontario, Canada.
No calling is planned.
Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
