She was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Bremen, to Charlie and Carrie Fitters Tyson. On Sept. 1, 1940, in Warsaw, she married Ira R. Pratt, who died Sept. 6, 1988.
Living in Warsaw most of her life, she worked at Cardinal Center, Warsaw, for 14 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, Claypool.
Surviving are three sons: Ira L. (and spouse Mary Jo) Pratt, Goshen; Charles (and spouse Lorrita) Pratt, Warsaw; and Ronald Pratt, Pierceton; three daughters, Evelyn May (and spouse Ira) Hyde and Karen Heeter, all of Warsaw, and Mary Louise Baker, Pierceton; 27 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Nelson, Robert and Charles Tyson; two sisters, Goldy and Dolly Tyson; a son, Robert Pratt, who died in 1947; and a daughter, Carol Ann Ditton, who died in 2008.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Dean Ealey of Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, Claypool, and Pastor John Bell. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
