She was born May 23, 1915 in Minot, N.D., to Simon and Lucy Wagoner Blocher. On Jan. 15, 1944, she married Kenneth R. Fingerle, who survives.
She was a homemaker and worked at Timbercrest Senior Living Community, North Manchester, for six years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester.
Also surviving are a son, Marlin L. (and spouse Marcia) Fingerle, Roann; a daughter, Carol Ann (and spouse Albert) Ernst, Morrison, Tenn.; four sisters: Etta Ulrey, North Manchester; Lydia Kinzie, Delphi; Dorothy (and spouse Lester) Bower, West Alexandria, Ohio; Bernice Garber, West Manchester, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were five brothers: Delbert (and Clara), Chester (and Miriam), Isaac (and Edna), Ora (and Eileen) and Walter (and Jerra) Blocher; three brothers-in-law: Jacob Ulrey, Everett Kinzie and Lavern Garber; and a granddaughter, Judith Ernst.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Ind. 13 North, North Manchester, with Home Brethren officiating. Burial is in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
