She was born Jan. 24, 1927, in LaGrange Co., to Eli S. and Sarah Herschberger Lehman. On Oct. 21, 1948, in LaGrange County, she married Eli D.S. Borkholder, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, including Willis (and spouse Freida) Borkholder and Owen (and spouse Carolyn) Borkholder, all of Nappanee; three daughters, including Lucy (and spouse Darryl) Hochstetler, Nappanee; 45 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Emory Kaufman residence, 1699 B. Road, Bremen, with Bishop Wilbur Kuhns and the Home Ministry officiating. Burial will be in Borkholder Cemetery.
Calling is after 2 p.m. today and all day Tuesday at the family residence.
