Animal Hospital Offers Pet Photos To Benefit AWL

July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.

Pet owners can have a holiday picture of their cat or dog taken Saturday and benefit the Animal Welfare League at the same time.
From noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Community Animal Hospital, 3800 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw, will offer Christmas pet pictures by photographer Lori Pendry, Fur Ever Photography. Half of the $10 cost will go to the AWL, with the other half paying for Pendry’s expenses. Pet owners will receive a digital image and a release for the print.
Dr. Shanna Ewert said people should call ahead to make appointments for the photos at 574-306-3122 so that no one has to be kept waiting. They also may email [email protected]
She said they also can give tours of the hospital and kennel Saturday.
The facility is a small animal full-service veterinary hospital and kennel. It offers everything from bloodwork, X-rays and dental work to ultrasound and surgery.
The kennel lets the dogs out four times a day. In case of poor weather, it has an indoor play area. Cats are kept upstairs.
Regular business hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
