SYRACUSE – Allen O. Shively, 86, Goshen, passed away Sept. 11, 2013, at Courtyard Healthcare, Goshen.
He was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Kosciusko County, to Frank and Inez Roberts Shively. He was married to Millie, who survives.
He owned and operated Colbin Tool, Syracuse, for many years. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church as well as the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
Also surviving are three daughters: Trudy Shively, Goshen; Sally (and spouse James) Whitehead, and Linda (and spouse Michael) Sheline, all of Syracuse; a son, Garry Shively, Syracuse; two stepdaughters: Jackie (and spouse Marvin) King, Glendale, Ariz.; and Becky (and spouse Robert) Johnson, Goshen; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one stepson, one brother and one sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
