He retired from Conrail Railroad after 42 years. She worked for United Telephone Co. for 17-1/2 years and retired after 11 years with Wawasee Community School Corp.
The couple have two daughters, Lorell (and spouse Carl) Bevins, Warsaw, and Melinda Allen, Milford. They have two granddaughters and one great-grandson.
The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a family gathering.
