She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in Kosciusko County, to Edward C. and Mary Grace Harmon Leedy.
A lifetime Milford resident, she worked at Sun Metal for 39 years, retiring in January of 1989.
Surviving are three daughters, Romona L. (and spouse Alan) Schmucker and Kathy E. (and spouse Arley) Meger, all of Nappanee, and Cindy L. (and spouse John) Griffith, Fort Wayne; a son, Bradley A. Taylor, Santa Cruz, Calif.; a brother, Ernest (and spouse Mary) Leedy, Etna Green; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Donald Bays, who died in 1944; two brothers, Robert Leedy, who died Aug. 20, 2005, and Norman Leedy, who died during World War II; two sisters, Mildred Schimming, who died May 13, 1994, and Wilma Bowers, who died April 13, 1988.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Norm Reimer of Nappanee Missionary Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
