MILFORD - Alfonso Rangel, 79, of Warsaw, died at 11:10 p.m. April 29, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital.

He was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Brownsville, Texas, to Baldomero and Bonifacia Sosa Rangel. He married Josefina Aguilar, who survives.

He moved to Warsaw from Texas in 1969 and retired from Dalton Foundry. He loved his family and enjoyed all the times that they spent together. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He loved attending church with his family, and it was his desire for all them to have a personal relationship with Christ.

Also surviving are six sons: Joe (and spouse Dolores) Rangel, Milford; David (and spouse Sue) Rangel, Arturo (and spouse Luisa) Rangel, Guadalupe Rangel, Richard Rangle and Jesse Rangel, all of Warsaw; a daughter, Maria (and spouse Frank) Hernandez; four brothers: Marcos Moran, Frank Francisco and Chrisantos Moran, all of Texas; and Andres Moran, Michigan; two sisters, Gloria Martinez, Texas, and Delia Moran, Michigan; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Pablo Moran.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastors Daniel Sandoval and Blake officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford.

Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.
