Aleta M. Montague, 66, a Warsaw-Winona Lake resident most of her life, died at 10:57 a.m. Nov. 13, 2012, in Parkview Hospital,, Fort Wayne, following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Detroit, Mich., to Winston G. and Anna Marie King Montague.
She was a 1964 graduate of Triton High School, Bourbon, and worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw, as a machine operator, retiring in 2011.
She had many hobbies, including sewing, embroidery, fishing, traveling, playing bingo, going to the casinos and most of all, being around her family.
Surviving are seven sisters: Sally (and spouse Roger) McPeak, Pittsburg, Texas; Jeanene (and spouse Troy) McGuire, Snohomish, Wash.; Karen Horoho, Warsaw;  Elaine (and spouse Bud) Wetzel, Winona Lake; Debra (and spouse Marvin) Eberly and Cheryl (and spouse Richard) McDonald, all of Warsaw; and Nancy Rockhill, Westfield; three brothers: Tom (and spouse Val) Montague, Westminster, Colo.; Richard (and spouse Becki) Montague, Westfield; and Michael (and spouse Karen) Montague, Downers Grove, Ill.; and 108 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, with the Rev. Charles Krieg officiating. Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
