Boyd E. and Grace L. Alderfer marked their 50th wedding anniversary April 6, 2008. Boyd E. Alderfer and Grace Lorraine France were married April 6, 1958, in Culver.

Formerly residents of Bourbon, he worked at R.R. Donnelley for many years and now is retired from automobile wholesaling. She was an emergency medical technician.

The couple have four children: Deborah (and spouse Steve) Young, Bourbon; Pamela (and spouse Gale) Estep, Warsaw; Kimberley (and spouse Rck) Bickel, Peru; and Lorrie (and spouse Robert) Guetterman, Anaheim, Calif. They have eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

The couple currently reside in Haines City, Fla., and will celebrate the anniversary with an Alaskan cruise with their family in July.[[In-content Ad]]
