Alberding Completes Training

During the intensive eight-week program, Alberding completed a variety of training, which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, military discipline, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, marksmanship, line handling, shipboard watch and safety. An emphasis also was placed on physical fitness and the Navy core values of honor, courage and commitment.[[In-content Ad]]Alberding currently is stationed at the Groton Naval Submarine School, Groton, Conn., where he and other submariners will learn their trades within the submarine fleet. Alberding currently is studying to be a mechanical engineer.
Alberding is a 2009 Whitko High School graduate.
