Akron Elementary To Host Basketball Programs

AKRON - Akron Elementary School will host two elementary basketball programs to benefit the Akron Fourth of July Committee.

Students in grades two and four will play March 31, followed by students in grades three and five on April 2. Both programs begin at 6 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]Admission is $2 per adult and $1 per student. There will be no admission fee charged to students who participate in either program. Adults and students paying admission the first evening will be given a ticket for free admission to the second evening.

The Akron Pride Council will have concessions available in the cafeteria. The Akron Fourth of July Committee plans to conduct a 50/50 drawing and homeroom class pictures on sale for $1.
