Agnes Schooley, 86, of 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, formerly of 1123 Brubaker St., Warsaw, died at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 31, 2008, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.

She was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Kosciusko County, to Lewis Franklin Rule and Pearl May Suter. On Nov. 18, 1944, in Warsaw, she married Herschel Lowell Schooley, who survives in Warsaw.

She was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Herschel Schooley Jr. (and spouse Chris Vernater), Tippecanoe; Rick (and spouse Cheryl) Schooley, Warsaw; and Brian (and spouse Judy) Schooley, Rio Linda, Calif.; a daughter, Sherry (and spouse Gary) Stebbins, Pinckney, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis (and spouse Joan) Rule, Warsaw, and Roscoe (and spouse Glea) Rule, Columbia City; and a sister, Vera Homan, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating.

Calling will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
