FORT WAYNE - Ada Marie Lippincott, 85, died Jan. 29, 2008, in Covington Manor Nursing Center, Fort Wayne.

She was born Nov. 15, 1922, in Kosciusko County, to William A. and Mabel Woodard Lippincott.

She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1940. She attended Oswego Baptist Church. In 1953, she graduated from Baptist Missionary Training School, Chicago. She served as director of Christian education at Federated Church, West Winfield, N.Y., and Hudson Falls (N.Y.) Baptist Church. In 1965, she became director of Christian education at South Wayne Baptist Church, Fort Wayne. She also worked for Lincoln Life Insurance, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, serving a variety of positions within the church. She served in Fort Wayne Church Women United, Fort Wayne Women's Prayer Breakfast and American Baptist Women - holding several state positions.

Surviving is a sister, Helen L. Rhinehart, Warsaw.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Oswego Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at D.O, McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne.
