Abshagen, Arthur Kick Grace Past Huntington

WINONA LAKE - Kim Abshagen and Eve Arthur scored four goals each as the Grace College Lady Lancers crushed Huntington 10-0 at Miller Field on Tuesday.

Abshagen, a freshman, recorded her first collegiate hat trick by scoring the first three goals of the game for the Lancers. Grace led 4-0 at the half.

In the second half, Grace scored six goals in a 14-minute period. Arthur scored three times in the second half to go along with one in the first half for her four goals.

Rebecca Bentley and Hannah Miller also scored for the Lancers.

Grace (2-3) will face Walsh on Friday at 4 p.m. and Malone on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Ohio. Both schools are ranked in the top 10 in the region.

At North Manchester, the Manchester College men's soccer team came from behind to defeat Concordia 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday.

Trailing 2-0, the Spartans scored just before the half to cut the lead in half. Manchester scored two more times to go ahead 3-2 in the second half, but Concordia came back with a goal at the 89:53 mark to tie the game.

Manchester scored at 8:26 of the overtime period to win.

The Spartans will be at Bluffton on Thursday at 4 p.m.

Manchester (1-6) will be at Indiana Wesleyan on Thursday at 3 p.m.
