The groom’s parents are David Deerwester, Columbia City, and Tonya Oliver, Warsaw. The bride’s parents are Dr. Samir and Ghada Abdo, Harrisburg, Ill. The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a juris doctorate from Drexel University. She is an attorney at Robert J. Casey & Associates, Philadelphia. The groom-elect graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a financial planner at TGS Financial Advisors, Rador, Pa. The couple plan a March 30, 2013, wedding in Pasadena, Calif.
