A Sign

At the risk of causing the county to collapse, I have decommissioned my dreaded 4 x 8 sign. I was impressed that the only neighbor to complain to the planning commission actually had his complaint handled by a national law firm out of Indianapolis. I'm impressed.
What also impressed me in a search for others committing such a dastardly deed during the entire last year – no business or private sign owner was denied such a variance.
Almost all the commercial businesses that applied for a variance have signs in most cases double the 220-square-foot limit. Guess what? The planning commission approved them all.
There are hundreds of smaller signs like mine in the county that aren’t being challenged.
Oh well. All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. Now back to the drawing board.
