911 Call Leads to Arrest for Heroin

Acacia Jade Frye, 21, of 5019 E. CR 300N, Warsaw, faces charges of possession of a schedule I, II, II, III, IV controlled substance and possession of a syringe for drug use.
Deputies from Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, along with North Webster/Tippecanoe Township EMS, responded Monday at 9:58 a.m. to 5019 E. CR 300N, Warsaw, in regards to an unresponsive male. Officers were informed by radio that CPR was possibly being performed on the male subject.
EMS and officers arrived and began to ask a female resident, Frye, for information relative to the patient. During the conversation, Frye admitted to the presence of drugs within the dwelling.
Officers located and secured heroin, along with drug paraphernalia. Frye was subsequently arrested and preliminarily charged with felony possession of a schedule drug/controlled substance, as well as possession of a syringe for legend drug usage. She is currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $5,250 bond.
North Webster medics advised at 10:08 a.m. Monday that the male patient was awake and alert.
