50th Fletcher

Charles and Elaine Fletcher, Etna Green, will be married 50 years Thursday. Charles Fletcher and Elaine Swango were married March 22, 1957, in Terre Haute, with the Rev. P.B. Smith officiating.

Charles is retired from R.R. Donnelley and is employed part-time at McCormick Creek Golf Course, Nappanee. Elaine is retired from Poulson Ford, Etna Green, and is employed part-time at Mike's Minimart, Etna Green.

The couple have four children: Debra (and Steve) Disher, Bourbon; Linda (and Kirk) Swaidner, Winona Lake; and Chuck Jr. and Jim Fletcher, both of Etna Green; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The couple will celebrate with a renewal of vows at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Etna Green United Methodist Church. A reception will immediately follow at Center Lake Pavilion, Warsaw.
