Three of four suspects in the recent theft and personal injury accident that took place at Elder-Beerman have been caught, police said.

An Elkhart man and his two sons were arrested by Warsaw detectives with the assistance of Elkhart Police Wednesday afternoon.

Anthony C. Drake, 35, of Elkhart, and two juveniles, ages 17 and 15, identified as as Drake's sons, were taken into custody.

On May 7, four men were observed and confronted by Elder-Beerman employees after leaving the store with approximately $1,000 worth of clothing without paying.

The four men fled into three different vehicles.

One of the vehicles involved struck a 30-year-old female Elder-Beerman employee.

A police report indicates Drake's 17-year-old son was the driver of that car.

Drake was booked into Kosciusko County Jail for theft, a felony, and held on $100,000 bond.

Drake's sons were processed through the Kosciusko County Juvenile Court and later released to a guardian.

The fourth suspect in the case is still at large.
