2013 Tri Kappa Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Alpha Lambda Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa recently awarded more than $9,000 in scholarships to several Kosciusko County students to help further their education.
The Alpha Lambda Chapter of Tri Kappa is a non-profit organization in Kosciusko County with a tradition of philanthropic effort furthering the arts, education and culture in the community. Tri Kappa works all year with its many projects such as Bingo, trunk show, and selling of decorated pumpkins to provide scholarships for Kosciusko County residents.
The Alpha Lambda Scholarship is the highest scholarship awarded to a student for outstanding achievement. The Georgianna Easterday, Chapter, and Vocational Scholarships are awarded with several criteria: solid academic performance, well-rounded character qualities and financial need.
– Jacob Poyner, son of Timothy and Susanne Poyner, received the Alpha Lambda Scholarship. He will attend Wake Forest University in the fall.
– Lanae Haessig, daughter of Dave and Kim Haessig, received the Alpha Lambda Scholarship. She will attend Grace College in the fall.
– Samantha Jensen, daughter of Phil and Deb Jensen, received the Georgianna Easterday Memorial Scholarship. She will attend Butler University in the fall.
Receiving Chapter Scholarships were:  
Hannah Alber, daughter of Mark and Shelly Alber; Adrian Chupp, son of Alvin and Heather Chupp; Nicholas Kaufman, son of Kurt and Laura Kaufman; Alexis Laureano, daughter of Lynn DesJardins; Daniel Luna, son of Jose and Celsa Luna; Bill McBride Jr., son of William and Sylvia McBride; Tayler Mylin, daughter of Richard and Jo Lynn Mylin; Allyson Ross, daughter of James and Brenda Ross; Lindsay Sciarra, daughter of Gregg and Ann Sciarra; Stephen Straits, son of Gregg and Sandra Straits; Kaley Thompson, daughter of James and Julie Thompson; Ryan Weigold, son of Mike and Tonia Weigold; Kaci Whitehead, daughter of Jim and Sally Whitehead; Kelly Wildman, daughter of Rod and Nancy Wildman; Lauren Williams, daughter of Andrew and Dawn Williams.[[In-content Ad]]
