1st Source Bank recently donated $5,000 to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation in support of the Kosciusko Endowment Youth Services program.
KEYS is the Community Foundation’s youth philanthropy program in which 20 students from four area school corporations learn about grant making, leadership and team building. KEYS students annually recommend educational grants. Last year, KEYS grants totaled more than $17,000.
“1st Source is a supporter of the KEYS program because of the positive impact it has on students in our community,” said Dennis Hively, 1st Source City President. “Programs like KEYS are important because they teach students real life skills that can be used in their future careers.”
Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community. The Community Foundation is a public charity, and gifts made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
