Jack and Mary Sprunger were married on Dec. 31, 1956, in Hialeah, Fla.
The couple, who lived in Leesburg 38 years, have three daughters: Cindy (spouse Mel), Debbie (spouse Mike) and Barbara (spouse Patrick); 10 grandchildren: Shawn (spouse Heidi), Michelle (spouse Ben), David (spouse Allie), Amy (spouse Josh), Amos (spouse Margo), Andy (spouse Tabitha), Robert, Mike, Philip and Maria; and six great-grandchildren: Christine, Annabelle, Emma, Michael, Ava and Stone.
Jack says: “Dec. 31 is our 60th anniversary. It has been a wonderful adventure that has been filled with so much love. We were looking forward to celebrating this day together, but my Mary died on Nov. 3 of this year.
“Mary, we will still celebrate this anniversary together because you have left me with so many wonderful memories that will live with me forever. I love you, Mary, and I?miss you so much.”
