Robert D. “Bob” Blakeley, 78, Winona Lake, passed away at 5:24 a.m. Dec. 18, 2016, in Grace Village Healthcare Center, Winona Lake.
On Feb. 8, 1938, he was born in Newark, Ohio, to C. Dell and Florence Bonham Blakeley. 
A 50-year resident of Warsaw, he was a former manager of Kline’s Department Store, retiring in 1986. He then purchased Kosko Manufacturing, where he retired in 2006.
He was a former member of Warsaw Exchange Club, Rozella Ford Golf Club and Gilliam Lanes Men’s Bowling League. He was also a member of the Breading’s Cigar Store.
He is survived by four daughters: Carol (husband John) Sloan, Warsaw; Patty (husband Craig) Shull, Warsaw; Tammy (spouse Robert) Sands, Valparaiso; and Vickie (fiancé Bob Salimi) Jenney, Carmel; his sister, Diane (husband William) Koman, Newark; and nine grandchildren: Ryan (spouse Kristi) Sloan, Fort Wayne; Justin (spouse Alicia) Mort, Warsaw; Kaylee Shull, Warsaw; Brandon Sands, Valparaiso; Claire Sands, Valparaiso; Meredith Sands, Valparaiso; Katelyn Jenney, Carmel; Lauren Jenney, Carmel; and Eva Salimi, Carmel. 
He was preceded by his longtime companion of 16 years, Beverly Ann Blood, who passed away Jan. 5, 2008.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bryan Benjamin officiating. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel.
