Weather, Forecast Causes Athletic Schedule Changes

By Staff Report-

The weather has altered the athletic schedule for the weekend in the Times-Union coverage area. Here’s a list as of press time:
The starting time for the girls basketball game with Tippecanoe Valley at Whitko has been moved to this afternoon, with the junior varsity tipping off at 2:30 p.m. A postponement had not been ruled out, and if it happens the game would be rescheduled for after the first of the year.
Triton’s home girls basketball game with Pioneer has been moved up to a 1 p.m. junior varsity start time, with varsity to follow. The varsity game was originally set for 7:30.
Triton and Tippecanoe Valley were scheduled to compete in the LaVille Invitational wrestling tournament today. The tourney has been cancelled.
Additional changes will be posted to the Times-Union Twitter feed, which can be found at www.timesuniononline.com

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains. With so much having been written in recent weeks about their performance on the field, and rightfully so, I wanted to peel back the curtain a bit and ask them some questions about themselves. Each of the four players were asked the same eight questions. Below are each of their answers.
